like so many of us, i’ve always felt a deep connection to unicorns and their magic. i remember in my younger years wearing a swirly unicorn horn made of seashell around my neck, swearing that it was magical to all of my peers. i would catch glimpses of sparkling light from the corner of my eyes, or a dancing aura in my peripherals, and announce, “there they are! unicorns!” only to be met with confusion and conviction. that’s okay—i knew what i saw. even as i grew older and perhaps wiser, i’d still hold out hope that one would reveal themselves to me, a validation of my heart’s longing for just a glimpse of their divine magic. little did i know that a unicorn’s magic resides within the heart all along. 💖
